Greetings Titans and Old Friends alike.
My name used to be synonymous with Titans Exodus, but that has not been the case for the last year of its life. Ever since the death of my son and the downward spiral of Blizzards direction of raiding the game has left little appeal to me and I have finally reached the point of questioning "
Why even continue?". The answer all along has been friends. Not many guilds can say they've been together for over 5-years (pushing 6-years) with the same core of individuals. I've feared for so long of quitting and losing contact with these individuals that it has had me paying $14.99 a month for a glorified chat engine. However, I have learned that my real online friends I stay in contact more outside of the game through various chats and on these forums.
So it is time for me to park my characters and pass on the leadership of the Titans to an individual I trust as much as some of my real-life friends. Zuess will be taking on the responsibilities of Titans Exodus and leading the guild along with his chosen Council. I will still be maintaining the forums and the website and offering my tutelage when necessary. One thing I wanted to ensure was the survival of Titans Exodus. It has been home for many of people for the entire duration of the game and I want to ensure that it will always be there. Whether it is a competitive guild or just a tag for friends to call home.
So I want to give thanks. Thanks to everyone that molded this guild into what it is today. Not a competitive raiding guild that can slay algorithmic controlled bosses, but rather a syndicate of individuals with the larger vision of friends first and foremost. By establishing friendships with these virtual characters drives the ability to work together in a stressful environment such as raiding has made it that much easier.
I wish I could name every individual that helped me along the way with the guild, but I'd truly feel bad if I left someone out. I carry with me so many great memory's from Molten Core, Blackwing Lair and of course our infamous TitanFest get together's. I look forward to the next chapter in online gaming with Star Wars: The Old Republic and reuniting with many of my old friends in a new universe!
